The use of the benzoyl peroxide shampoo has some side effects associated with it. It is suggested that you do not treat your dog more than once a week. The same side effects that humans experience are usually similar with dogs. Possible side effects that can usually occur are pain, dry skin, irritation, swelling and burning.
